CES-MED published Funding Guidelines for municipalities in eight South-Mediterranean countries

The CES-MED Funding Guidelines recommend useful steps for municipalities in each of the CES-MED affiliated countries, towards securing funding for the preparation of their Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAPs) and their Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAPs).  
 

CES-MED at the Energy & Climate Business Forum in Cairo

CES-MED represented by Dr. Naguib Amin (TL) and Dr. Ahmed Sedky (SNKE for Egypt) participated in the Energy & Climate Business Forum in Cairo, orgnaised by the Unioon for the Mediterranean (UfM) on November 8, 2017 . The forum was organised under the auspices of the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy, and the New and Renewable Energy Authority of Egypt.

New financing opportunities: the EU-funded ‘ENI CBC MED Programme’ launches the 1st call for standard Projects

The first call for the financing of standard projects, which addresses the 11 Programme Priorities, is open until 9 November 2017. The budget available is €84.6 million. 
 
The eligible countries in this programme are: Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Malta, Palestine, Portugal, Spain and Tunisia.
