Networking with potential funding or technical partners for SEAP projects solution

Workshop ONE held for Palestinian municipalities

The three Palestinian municipalities of Hebron, Nablus and Tulkarm met with the CES-MED Mashreq team in Jordan for a two days’ Workshop. This Workshop One was held in the Corp Executive Hotel in Amman on the 20th and 21st of January 2014. About three participants from each municipality attended the Workshop. The Participants from Nablus were Eng. ShadiaQamhya, Eng. Amjad Haj Hamad, and Eng. YahyaAraft. The participants from Tulkarm were Mayor IyadJallad, Eng. NehadSheikha, and End. Mohammad Jallad. In addition, the participants from Hebron were Eng. Nader Betar and Eng. BahiraRasras. M.

Workshop 2: Assistance to the municipalities in the preparation of their SEAPs

- Workshop 1 for Benslimane on the 28th of February (Final Confirmed Date).

- Workshop 2 for Algerian local authorities on the 10/11 March in Alger (Final Confirmed Date).

- Workshop 2 for Palestinian local authorities on the 25/26 March in Amman (Final Confirmed Date).

- Workshop 2 for Lebanese local authorities on the 27/28 March in Beirut (Final Confirmed Date).

- Steering Committee Meeting, PCS 2 on the 1st of April in Brussels (Final Confirmed Date).

- Workshop 2 for Tunisian local authorities on the 2/3 April in Sousse (Final Confirmed Date).

Workshop ONE held for Oujda Morrocan municipality

Workshop one “Sustainable Energy Needs Assessment and introduction to CoM and SEAP approach including BEI operations” was held for Oujda on 20th of December 2013 with the participation of the mayor of Agadir Mr. Omar Hejira and the technical team involved in CES-MED project.

During this first workshops the key expert of Maghreb region Mr. Pierre Couté with mayors and technical team of municipalities discussed the expected objectives on this stage of the project:

Workshop one “Sustainable Energy Needs Assessment and introduction to CoM and SEAP approach including BEI operations” was held for Agadir on 17th of December 2013 with the participation of the mayor of Agadir Mr. Tariq Kabbage and the technical team involved in CES-MED project

JRC Training 2

On the the 2nd and 3rd of December2013 the CES-MED Team will participate in the second 2-day training at the research centre of the European commission (JRC)in Ispra/Italy.
