CES-MED held a three-day Training of Trainers Workshop in the city of Rabat in Morocco

The CES-MED project organized a three-days’ training course in the capital city Rabat from the 29 to 31st of March in co-operation with the AMEV (Moroccan Association for Eco-cities) and in collaboration with the IDE-E consultants, "Green City" program (GiZ, JihaTinou, AMEE), and the Joint Research Center in Ispra (JRC), the science and knowledge service of the European Commission and the Council of the Covenant of Mayors (CoM).

The city of Agadir hosted the Seventh Project Steering Committee meeting for CES-MED

CES MED held its seventh Steering Committee Meeting (PSC) on February 21- 22, 2017 in Agadir, Morocco, bringing together representatives of the European Commission, the National Focal Points of the eight beneficiary countries, eight mayors, and many other project stakeholders.

CES-MED held a two-day Training of Trainers Workshop in the city of Sousse - Tunisia

Under the patronage of the ANME (Agence Nationale de la Maîtrise de l’Energie), represented by Mr. Oussama Nagati, the CES-MED project held a two-days’ workshop in the city of Sousse, Tunisia on February 1st and 2nd, 2017. titled “Training for the implementation of an Action Plan for Sustainable Energy in the Tunisian municipalities” which was attended by representatives of more than 20 Tunisian municipalities.

CES-MED takes part in the second edition of the Moroccan EcoCity Association University (AMEV)

The Moroccan EcoCity Association (AMEV) in collaboration with the commune of Kénitra, will organise on January 9 and 10 2017, the second edition of its University under the theme: “The role of elected representatives in sustainable urban development".

CES-MED participates in “The Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy-A Global Network” conference at Marrakech COP22

On Monday 14 November 2016 at the Palmeraie, the CES-MED team leader joined a panel at the side-event to the Summit. The conference was organised by the European Committee of the Regions in partnership with the European Commission and the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and was divided into four sessions, as each was followed by a brief discussion between the audience and speakers, moderated by the journalist Ms Kate Holman.
